We live in a world drowning in distraction, where true connection is rare, and meaningful conversation feels like a lost art. Through carefully curated tequila tastings, storytelling, and barstool philosophy, The Buddha Bartender creates a space where people slow down, lean in, and experience the fullness of the present moment.
Every event is an invitation - to savor, to learn, to laugh, to reflect, and ultimately, to transform. Whether it’s an intimate private party, a corporate gathering, or a large-scale speaking tour, the goal is the same: to craft experiences that linger long after the last sip, leaving guests feeling seen, heard, and a little more alive.
you know, the same tired speech regurgitated a thousand times with a different PowerPoint deck. The same recycled phrases, the same feel-good but shallow “rah-rah” energy that leaves you asking,
“Yeah, but what now?”
This isn’t about “woo-woo” or empty spirituality. It’s about bringing practical wisdom down to earth. About being fully present, fully human, and fully alive — no scripts, no filters.
So if you’re tired of the same-old same-old, of spiritual soundbites and canned motivation that don’t stick, The Buddha Bartender is your antidote.
Because real transformation doesn’t come from the stage. It comes from the bar — from the stories, the laughter, the shared humanity that breaks down walls and wakes up the soul.
And that? That’s exactly what this is.
Everything we create is designed to feel intentional — a pause in the noise of everyday life. Whether it’s a tasting, a live show, or a corporate gathering, our rituals invite people to slow down, lean in, and share the moment.
We don’t do scripts, slides, or surface-level hype. Our method is raw and real: a mix of storytelling, humor, and practical philosophy that makes ancient wisdom feel at home in modern life.
We gather people who crave something deeper — teams, communities, audiences, and individuals who are tired of distractions and ready for real connection. Whoever’s in the room, everyone leaves feeling seen, included, and a little more alive.
I co-founded one of the fastest growing sport and fitness franchises in the U.S., served as CEO of a major youth development organization, and have spoken on stages across five continents. I've also authored best-selling books, written for global publications, and co-hosted award-winning shows.
Beyond the accolades, I am a man of contradictions - a tattooed former bodyguard with a PhD in Pastoral Counseling, a competitive powerlifter with a deep reverence for Eastern philosophy, and a storyteller who believes the best conversations don’t happen just on a stage but also across a bar.
Through tequila tastings, live shows, and corporate gatherings, I bring people together for connection, laughter, and philosophy made practical. I don't peddle hype or empty affirmations - I deliver presence, humor, and truth, one story and one sip at a time.

If you could bottle happiness, what would be in it?
A. My wife and daughter. They epitomize “happy for no reason” and have always been that way.
Whose story echoes in your bones?
A. My Dad. Born in the Great Depression and raised in a small village in rural Italy during World War 2. He became the “man of the house” at age 11 when his Dad got conscripted into the Army. Came to Canada alone at 17 with no English or money. Made a life for himself, my Mom and his 3 sons. Never took a backwards step, never backed down from anyone or anything and did it ALL his own way.
Which so-called virtue needs to be knocked off its pedestal?
A. I don’t know if any need to be dislodged, but “Forgiveness” needs to be amplified. We’ve become a society of extreme judgementalness and condemnation. We behave as Judge, Jury and Executioner rather than releasing to compassion and empathy. And that’s equally true for ourselves. Much of my counseling practice is based on helping high-performers learn to forgive themselves for past transgressions.
What part of you are you still learning to love?
A. Speaking of forgiveness… The parts of my past where I was more sinner than saint. Our journey includes the lowlights as much as it does the highlights and embracing all of it matters for complete acceptance and adoration of oneself.
What’s your mic-drop moment?
A. In Melbourne Australia when I learned the word “Sawubona” - that single story has shaped everything about my counseling career and life. We do not know ourselves well and unless or until we do, we’ll remain blind to many of our own actions, habits, behaviors and thought-processes.
How do you take your whiskey?
A. Neat… And preferably smoked.
